general Information

About me and this page

Hi!

My name is Marcel aka "Souko" and I am the 'maker' behind the projects which you can find on this website.

I have been playing Airsoft since 2018. Especially in the LARP area and sometimes MilSim. Shortly after my first game days, I started to develop and build various props for Airsoft.

After I joined my current Airsoft team, the Honeybadgers, at the end of 2019, I started developing props, technology and story for the Honeygames.

Now more and more people are asking me questions like "where can I get this?" or "how can I recreate that?". So I decided to create this webpage.

As soon as the projects have a useable and stable status, I will document and publish them here so that you can reproduce them.

You are also welcome to write me a message at any time using the contact form. If you have any questions or ideas for improving my projects or this page - let me know it.

However, it can sometimes take a few days before I answer. I do the whole thing in my spare time besides work, family and other, at least as crazy, hobbies :)

Motivation

Also one of the more common questions is "why are you doing all this stuff?". The answer to this consists of several parts. On the one hand, there are some things that cannot be bought which needed features, or they cost a whole lot of money and doesn't provide the function that you need. On the other hand, I just have a lot of fun to create and develop such stuff - and the reactions of you out there when the next sick idea takes shape and is used at some airsoft event!

Replica

The replication of the projects is absolutely welcome! Otherwise this website would be totally unnecessary.

Most of the projects consist of materials and parts that can be obtained without problems and inexpensive in the hardware store and from the well-known online trading platforms. Especially when using electronic parts, I make sure to use modules and components that are widely used and easy to obtain.

commercial use

Information on the commercial use of the projects can be found here: License & commercial use

Support

"I build project / thing XY, but it doesn't work. Can I send it to you / bring it over and you can take a look at it?"

Since I do the whole thing, as written above, as a hobby among other things like family, work and the like - No, I can not provide support for your replicas. Not even for small things or as an exception - NO! If you have any questions or something is unclear, use the contact form. But as mentioned above - it can take a few days before I answer.

"I would like to support your work - how can I do ?"

COFFEE! - Sometimes the nights in front of CAD drawings or source code are really long. But coffee is difficult to send by email. So here is a donation link to my virtual coffee-Piggybank. But be careful! - Data protection and such - this PayPal link leads to an external page called PayPal! : PayPal donation link - THANK YOU in advance!
